The family who gets the Haryana Happy Card will have the facility to travel free on Haryana Roadways buses. As far as their buses are linked through transportation, this card will be used as an e-ticketing system network so that only those passengers can use this transport scheme for free, who would be deserving.
This scheme by the Chief Minister is very beneficial for people with low incomes, but on the one hand, this travel facility has been limited to a certain amount. Under the Haryana Happy Card Scheme, families with Happy Cards can travel only 1000 km a year through the Haryana Roadways bus using the issued Happy Card program.
About 23 lakh families will benefit under the Haryana Happy Card Scheme. The count has been released as an estimate because only those families whose annual income is less than 1 lakh will be able to avail themselves of the benefits of this scheme.
